Nice shoe, although the grade of leather on this shoe was much thinner and softer than I was expecting.But the main problem was the size. It was too small by a full size, and too narrow to be a "Wide".So, I had to send it back and get hit with the return postage.

The Rockport DresSport slip-on are a bit too casual for some. It is a good comfortable shoe ok for travel which is what I bought them for. But I prefer a shoe (loafer/slip-on) that I can also wear with a suit as I travel often and prefer not to carry extra shoes. These are just awfully casual looking, never work with a suit or even a sport jacket and dress pants. May be ok with a pair of Dockers and they look ok with jeans. I have two pairs of the DresSport oxfords and I can usually get by wearing them with a suit if it is not a formal event. But this slip-on just will not work. Rockport got close on this but they sacrificed a bit of suitable style (pun intended) and came up with more of an earth shoe style. They should have stuck with the sole/heal design on the first generation DresSport oxfords. I may send them back as I can find a much less expensive shoe to wear with jeans.

The Rockport 2 Eye shoes feature a leather upper with a moc toe. The man-made outsole lends lasting traction and wear. Made in Indonesia.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, he loves them hard to find his size in the department stores. He has the old pair still and has worn them for almost 9 years. I would definitely recommend them.

The Rockport Prowalker is part of the Rockport World Tour Classic that has become the standard for walking comfort. Constructed with the Rockport patented Walk Platform, it provides a wide base of support for the heel and a flexible forefoot to aid in the walking motion. The removable footbed is made of rubberized EVA cushioning that is durable. It also features a solid rubber outsole that grips a variety of surfaces, a lightweight fiberlon shank that provides midfoot support, and a full grain leather upper that is easy to clean.
I can't evaluate these as actual 'boat' shoes, and any non-slip properties, but they seem to be a decently made, comfortable shoe.Sizing seems accurate. While not a walking shoe, the insole seems supportive enough for comfort for modest walks, and time on your feet.
